ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - LEVEL III
Description
- Produce new PLC and Panel View programmes for various projects in Allen Bradley, Siemens and Omron
- Make changes to existing PLC programmes and systems
- Provide technical support as required for PLC programmers out in the field
- Quote electrical panel jobs and PLC programming projects
- Design and layout electrical panels
- Develop bills of materials
- Review drawings and calculations against layouts,schematics and bill of material
Required Skills:
- Min 5 years experience in PLC programming (RSview32, RSlinx, Micrlogix, SLC500, PLC
- 5, ControlLogix, Wonderware and Scada systems)
- Experienced in electrical design of control panels
- Experienced in drawings with Auto
- Cad and or E
- Plan
- Familiar with applicable electrical codes and standards (NEMA, IEC, CSA, UL, CE)
- Strong written and oral English communication skills

Electronics Repair Technician
Description
Repairing of industrial units ranging from PLC to Servo drives. The repairs are done within our fully equipped electronics lab, as well as in the field. The technician diagnoses, performs components level repairs, and thoroughly tests the units he/she is working on. The technician documents all necessary information for future use, and helps create specific and more efficient test procedures.
Knowledge Base Required:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting.
- Experience with high power electronics.
- Experience with, and an understanding of the operation of AC and DC drives and a thorough understanding of their operation.
- Proficient with component level repairs.
- Be able to troubleshootTroubleshoot with and without schematic diagrams.
- Good communication skills and customer service skills; must be fluent in English.
- Must work well as an individual, with minimal supervision.
- Be able to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Experienced in the use of a DMM, oscilloscope, signal generator, and other electronics test equipment.
- Well organized with good time management skills.
- Excellent understanding of SCR, IGBT and related semiconductor operation.
- Excellent understanding of AC and DC motor operation.
- Experience performing repairs at customer’s location

Industrial Electrician
Requirements:
- Successful Technician/Technologist
- 5-10 years in industrial electrical.
- 5 years in HMI and PLC programming.
- 2-3 years with Auto Cad
- Must hold valid drivers license.
- Electrical license not mandatory but preferred.
Skills:
- Able to troubleshoot relay logic and PLC's.
- Able to read and understand electrical prints.
- Solid technical communication.
- Problem solving.
- Able to troubleshoot motion control applications
- Electronic troubleshooting an asset
- Able to work under minimal supervision.

Electrician Journeyman or Apprentice
Description
3-6 years in industrial or commercial electrical.
Skills
- Installation of electrical feeders and system in a plant environment.
- Able to read and understand electrical prints.
- Troubleshoot, locate, identify or diagnose malfunctions.
- Able to work under minimal supervision.
- A strong understanding of relay logic and control wiring is an asset.
